[WTS] Seiko SARB044. The Classically European Inspired Seiko, with Matchstick Lugs and a Bubbled Crystal
**Reference:** **Model:** Seiko SARB044 **Year Produced:** 2008 **Timestamp:** [https://imgur.com/a/UMGDGcR](https://imgur.com/a/UMGDGcR) **Album:** [https://imgur.com/a/1mr3of8](https://imgur.com/a/1mr3of8) **Features:** **The Design.** Released in 2008 and discontinued after two years, this Seiko isn’t commonly seen outside of Japan, which is a shame as its design feels perfectly suited to life in Europe. The elegant Roman numerals, matchstick lugs, and raised crystal exude a distinctly Swiss aesthetic, while its 37mm diameter aligns beautifully with modern dress watch proportions. **The Crown.** Curiously, the S on the crown is the original “Seiko S” rather than the modern one we all know. The original S can be found on the crowns of various watches from the ‘00s era of Seiko, but I’ve never be able to find what specifically qualified a watch to be given the Historical S rather than the Modern S. **Details:** **Condition**: Great condition.
