My father recently passed and I was pretty surprised to find this among his jewelry and watches. I've already taken it to an AD who sent it to Rolex USA for servicing. It came back with a letter from Rolex saying that it was too old and they no longer had the parts, but did not specify what exactly it needed. It runs, keeps the time and date, and it's beautiful even in its current neglected state. My original plan was to have it serviced/restored by an expert, then sell it, but I'm nervous about picking the wrong person to do it, so I figured I should just sell it as-is and let a true collector restore it.
