This is my favorite Grand Seiko and I have owned almost all of their sought after models including Lake Suwa, White Birch, Snowflake, Peacock, and others. The blue jean dial is unmatched. This watch features the spring drive movement and is rated at +\-1 second per day and +/-15 seconds per month and 72hrs power reserve. Built in the 44GS case, the watch features the integrated power reserve on the dial. The dial is a kirazuri finished dial which uses mica to create both texture and unique reflection that complete y transforms the dial in both color and tone. This is the first Grand Seiko to feature an insert in the rehaut that creates a blue ring on the edge of the crystal in certain lighting conditions.
