Hi folks!  For sale is one from my personal collection – the Christopher Ward C65 Dune Blue.  After trying on literally every Christopher Ward model available at two separate events, this is the one that I landed on as the best daily driver in their lineup. And as of a few weeks ago, this blue matte/sunburst dial variant seems to have been discontinued and rereleased as their new “Shifting Sands” dials! The reason I landed on the C65 Dune is due to its perfect specs and feel on the wrist. With the 38mm x 43.6mm x only 11.7mm thick “Lightcatcher” case and large dial, it sits in the ideal goldilocks zone on the wrist. Incredibly versatile and very comfortable. The movement is a modified Sellita with a decorated Christopher Ward ‘Colimaçoné’ finish on the rotor.  This is not technically one of CW’s Chronometer movements, however I was told by their sales director at an event that they regulate every movement to COSC specs whether they go through chronometer certification or not. This one certain runs well within those specs!  With a glass box sapphire crystal and vintage lume, this watch has a wonderful vibe that really helps it sound out in their collection. It comes on their awesome Bader bracelet with quick release spring bar system and the prior generation adjustable clasp which makes it a joy to wear. It is an absolute strap monster as well with 20mm lugs. Condition wise the case / watch head is 100%. I am very careful with my watches and there are no noticeable major or minor flaws visible at all. The bracelet has a few very very light desk diving marks on it in a few places but the clasp is 99%. The watch presents as “very lightly used” and could be mistaken for new unless you put it under close inspection. The sale will come with the full kit – Outer box, inner box, manual, warranty booklet with card dated 8/2024 (watch will have the remainder of the 5 year CW warranty!), polishing cloth and extra bracelet links.
