Hello r/watchexchange! If you enjoy oddballs, if you value watch making over brand names, and if you value high complication at not so high prices, boy have you found the watch for you. Here's an Oris with a complication usually found in watches with five-digit price tags and up. It's a recreation of the Oris Full Steel World Timer, which first saw the light of day in 1998. The watch is part of limited edition series Oris has been putting out every year since 2020. Each year, they choose a different watch and release a unique execution in limited quantities. For 2022, they put out this brilliant world timer allowing for the tracking of two time zones simultaneously. A subtle day/night indicator lets you differentiate AM from PM in the subdial itself, while buttons at 4 and 8 o' clock let you adjust the big hour hand independently on the fly, and give the watch an upside down bullhead look. And as is tradition with Hölstein editions, the Oris bear makes an appearance via an engraving on the case back. This watch packs a major punch for its size, unseating the Marathon 36mm MSAR as the densest (and definitely heaviest) small watch I've ever owned.
