1950's Movado Watch (ref. 18241) This beauty is over 70 years old. It features a 35mm Stainless Steel "Francois Borgel" Case (FB was a famous case maker for the likes of Patek Philippe). The well known Movado hand logo is seen on the original crown. The Case houses a Manual winding movement by Movado. It Sets, Winds and runs properly. Timekeeping data and service history is unknown. The Case shows minor scratches and marks throughout, consistent with its age. There is patina and light oxidisation evident on the dial and hands. It is accompanied with a dark brown vintage leather strap with stainless steel buckle. The watch was acquired from the Blackshaw family. It is believed to have been owned by an Australian WW2 Fighter Pilot.
