This was one of the first commercial, and certainly the first generally affordable, quartz movements. It was designed and developed inhouse by MST in conjunction with General Time USA who supplied the electronic module. The Micro Quartz was first shown in 1972 at Basel. Roamer introduced a new quartz model with advanced technology (quartz vibrating at 32,768 Hertz, frequency division with a 16-binary-stage MOS integrated circuit down to one impulse per second). It’s a truly fascinating movement with a conventional escapement, but instead of a balance wheel or more conventional quartz stepper motor, uses a quartz controlled anchor/lever with conventional pallet jewels. Another super affordable and historically significant watch. This watch is fitted with a really nice metal bracelet with extension and is in good condition with minor wear signs. It comes as watch only. **Details & More** **Condition:** Very good for its age.
