For sale is my Omega 176.007, a fantastic cushion case Seamaster from the 1970s. This is an Automatic Chronograph with the famed Omega 1040 movement. It has a 9 oclock subdial seconds hand, plus center minutes/hours. It has a 24 hr hand also on the 9 oclock ( the little arrow), as well as a 3 oclock date wheel. What makes this watch particularly cool/interesting though is that it has a center minutes totalizer for the chronograph. Like most chronograph movements, it has a center seconds hand for the chrono. BUT the orange pointer hand is the MINUTES hand for the chronograph! Wrapping it up is the hour totalizer at the 6 oclock. I picked this up about a year and a half ago from a gentleman on OmegaForum, who had it serviced recently according to him, though I don't have paperwork on that. I wore it on/off, but I never really fell in love with it, so I'm seeing if someone else can love it! It has the leather strap showed in the verification photos, plus an Uncle Seiko steel bracelet that I'll include (pictured in the ot her 2 photos). ONTO the not-so-great: The case back has been polished, so the seamaster logo is faint. Second, there are two spots on the tachymeter part of the dial (the white part) where the paint is chipped off, and you can see the metal underneath, 1 at 60, 1 at 92. It is REALLY hard to see except in the exact right light. Finally, while I don't think the hands are touching at all, the minutes total izer sometimes moves when the chrono is NOT running as the minutes hand passes it. I suspect there not enough friction holding it in place or something. That said, it resets perfectly and doesn't happen while it is running. Looking to get $2500 Shipped, with the band, bracelet, and Omega Travel case in the pictures. I'm hoping this can go to someone who will enjoy it!
