Up for sale is a Heuer Carrera Dato 45 Ref. 3147S Mechanical Chronograph. This unique vintage Carrera known as the 'Winking Carrera' is one of the very first wristwatch chronographs to feature a rotating date disc. With a 45-minute totalizer in the 3 o'clock register and the date at the 9 o'clock position, you have the best of both worlds without any overlapping. It's got classically good looks that's simple and clean but with all the functionality you'd need. In an ad that ran in 1969 and 1970 promoting the Heuer Carrera Dato 45, it was billed as "ideal for the businessman who needs a chronograph but can never remember the date."

Condition:
Great cosmetic condition with light scratches and nicks. Facets on lugs are clear and sharp. Case is unpolished.
Service history is unknown, but movement is clean and works.
