Here’s a rare and beautiful bird: the Roger Dubuis Pulsion in 18k rose gold (Ref RDDBPU0003). These hardly ever come up for sale so here’s a great opportunity to get your hands on one.
From 2014, this is a transitional piece between the RD designs of yore and the brand’s current crop of open-worked, hypermasculine offerings. At 45 x 14mm with a single sapphire that extends over the bezel, the Pulsion is a strong presence indeed but one with elegance and an emphasis on immaculate case and movement finishing.
Movement is the automatic RD680, with 44 jewels, a vertical clutch column wheel chronograph, microrotor, and 52 hours of power. The watch is mounted on a sweet rubber strap with an 18k deployant and is rated to 100m WR.
I’m the second owner. I’ve worn the watch in rotation and it’s in excellent condition and running without issue. There is a small imperfection under the sapphire at the 55 mark that is visible at certain angles. Sale includes complete kit as shown.
