Up for sale is an absolute beauty, the Grand Seiko SBGJ249 Shōsho, a hi-beat GMT with a truly striking and dynamic dial. The watch comes in at 39.5mm in diameter with a lug to lug of 47mm, and a thickness of 14.1mm. For me personally this has been an extremely wearable and comfortable piece, and with the bubble back style caseback, it sinks into the wrist and wears noticeably thinner than a watch with a flat style caseback and slab sides. The diameter and lug to lug also means that it'll work well on a variety of wrist sizes. The watch is powered by the in house 9S86 movement, which happens to be one of my favorites. No other company makes a dedicated 36000 vph GMT movement, and the architecture is very solid and durable. The movement runs perfectly and there are no issues to report in any way. Overall the watch is in mint/near mint condition, with only light scratches on the caseback and very light wear on the bracelet to report. The watch comes as a full set, double boxed, with its original warranty card stamped and dated with time remaining on the warranty. Full links are included with the bracelet.
