For sale  Vintage Heuer **„Jacky Ickx Easy Rider“** In 1970, Heuer had successfully launched its line of automatic chronographs -- with the Autavia, Carrera and Monaco but quartz era made them in late 70s made  Heuer decide to develop more economically-priced watches that would appeal to younger customer and  compete with the new quartz watches being produced in Japan, we can say that the brand succeeded on a number of fronts. The imagery of the movie “Easy Rider” stood the test of time, with hippies on Harleys and rock ballads proving to be an enduring representation of this era. So too, Jacky Ickx and the Ferrari Formula One connection would prove to be valuable to Heuer in selling its chronographs throughout the 1970s. The design of the Easy Rider chronograph is also appealing, a transition to some of the styles that Heuer would develop later in the decade.   Jacky Ickx Easy Rider -- **The first version of the Easy Rider**, launched in december 1971 Watch is  powered by the **manual- wind EB8420** pin lever chronograph movement made by Ebauches Bettlach, a company that was part of ETA. – Service is made 09.2024 and works as need to.
