Hi OF,
For sale today is an Omega Seamaster with an uncommon ‘curtain’ (or ‘ribbon dial’) from 1962. The description is as follows:
Dial: The dial is original and untouched, the star of the show would be an uncommon ribbon dial, that will reflect nicely under certain lighting. It shows obvious signs of aging, with the correct set of dauphine hands that goes very well with the steel markers.
Case: The case measures 34.5mm without the crown and remains unpolished (or close to), with the facets of the lugs clearly visible. With hairline scratches but no dings/dents.
Crown: Original Omega crown and all so period correct to the reference.
Movement: The watch houses an Omega automatic cal. 562, with the serial number dating the watch to 1962. The watch is running, winding easily and date jump as should. Unknown service history.
Plexiglass: Likely a replacement glass with sign.
Omega Beads of Rice bracelet ref. 8220 with endlink No. 11, comfortably fitting a 7 ¼ inch wrist.
The watch is priced at $950, including global shipping with EMS.
For payment, I accept Wise, wire transfer, or crypto.
Please, all sales are final.
Please consider the pictures as part of the description, and feel free to request more if needed.
I have some humble references here
Cheers,
Harry
