# Christopher Ward C63 Sealander GMT 39 [Timestamp](https://imgur.com/a/ce-jf92Btw) Up for sale is my CW C63 Sealander GMT 39mm. This was purchased in July 2024 as **nearly new** from [christopherward.com](https://www.christopherward.com/). **Nearly New** means the watch was an accepted return from CW and still includes the 60 month warranty. The reason for selling is that the watch is just not for me; so I would like it to go to someone else who will enjoy wearing it. I already have two white dial watches in my collection and would rather try the black dial version of this watch. **Price** - $1150 OBO **Payment Method** - Paypal F&F **Shipping - FREE US** and **UK** (Tracked USPS & Royal Mail) **Condition:** The watch is in **great condition**. The case and bracelet have light marring from normal wear. The crystal and display-back have **zero** imperfections. Included is three extra straps from Christopher Ward. Christopher Ward was founded by Chris Ward, Mike France and Peter Ellis on a boat on the river Thames in 2004.

In 2005, Christopher Ward released their first watch which created a whole new model for the watchmaking industry. When influential watch bloggers wrote about their watches on TimeZone, Christopher Ward were being discussed more than Rolex in December 2005.

For the company’s 10th anniversary in 2014, it merged with Swiss manufacturing partners Synergies Horlogères SA to create Christopher Ward London Holdings Ltd. This culminated in the launch of Christopher Ward’s first in-house movement, Calibre SH21, in July 2014. Conceived and designed over the past four years by Christopher Ward’s watchmaker, Johannes Jahnke, the SH21 is entirely Swiss-made by some craftsmen. This release is said to be “probably the most important development by a British watch brand in the past 50 years.”

Christopher Ward London was the only watch company to rank in The Sunday Times SME Export Track 100, ranking 77th in 2015.
