Good evening, WatchEx! First of two for tonight: the stealthy Christopher Ward C60 Abyss (yes, another one.) One of my all-time favorite dive watches period - and from my favorite affordable "mid-tier" brand. I've said it a million times, and I'll say it a million more - there isn't a better value in all of watches than the CW Trident line. The C60 Trident Pro 600 is as robust as it gets in their segment, and this limited release Abyss is a true gem from the British powerhouse. They've managed to make a murderered-out watch legible! The not-so-subtle hits of sport red compliment this perfectly, and add an almost sinister touch to a very serious dive watch. Christopher Ward absolutely crushed the design of the C60 line - with their Light Catcher case being the my favorite case design of any watch. Seriously, how many other 300-600m dive watches have curves like this? It wears very nicely on wrist, too, with a low profile and center of gravity. I've owned this watch more times than I can keep track of - it's one of a few watches that I buy anytime I see one at a reasonable price, a long with the Oris Aquis and pretty much anything Fears. I'd probably keep one forever if they made it in a 40mm case under their 300 Pro platform.
