I purchased this early version of the Cav Date new from Dagaz in February 2014. It is the version with the Miyota 9015. The movement actually developed problems after a year. I sourced a new movement and had a local watch repairman swap the movements. I got to watch him work as well as test the water resistance to over 30 meters. I approved as I would only swim in the pool or shower with it. Since then, I had no problems with leakage or flooding. Note: I do not have the original nato strap. I have worn it on various rubber bands over the years and will include the best (and only one) I have (see below). The sleek form factor of the watch made for a no nonsense experience every time I put it on and the high contrast of the white hands and markings on the black dial and bezel made reading very easy. There are small scuffs from wear. Actually, the really noticeable scuffs are on the caseback. Otherwise, the bead blast finish has held up quite well. I found I have not worn this much lately, and so I hope it will go to a good home.
