Good evening, WatchEx! Fourtj and final of tonight: the Fears Brunswick 40 in salmon/copper. A very typical weekend for me it seems - CW, Fears, Farer...I've got a bit of a kink for British watchmaking it seems. You've probably seen a Fears or two listed by me in the last year or so, and that's because they've very quickly become my favorite watch brand. Their attention to detail and general level of execution is remarkable for what's truly a small company. There's not a lot I can say that the photos won't tell you about how beautiful this watch is, so I'll try to keep this brief. I'm a huge fan of how this is put together - the raised, slate Arabic numerals are absolutely perfect with this type of watch. Fears' unique eye-dropper hands offer a fantastic contrast against the lighter, warm dial. The hands (as seen in photos) shift between a deep black and a sharp silver depending on lighting .This Brunswick comes equipped with their excellent five-link bracelet which isn't necessarily high tech, but the comfort is all there. It fits perfectly to the case, and the underside of the butterfly clasp has a beautiful engraved/painted Bristol rose on either side - a wonderful little detail that further states Fears' passion for what they make. I personally prefer the 38mm for my 6.75-7" wrist, but this 40mm also fits extremely well - Fears will tell you that there's not a flat surface on the watch, and it was designed to contour to a wrist, rather than be an uninspiring flat slab of steel. I seriously cannot praise this design enough. I also have a Brunswick 38 (handwound) on my profile - I love the subtle differences between them. I'll spare you a lecture on Fears' horological significance and brand heritage, but I'd highly encourage you to take a look at them if you've got a few minutes to burn: [Fears Heritage](https://www.fearswatches.com/en-us/pages/heritage) Quick Specs: - Reference: Brunswick 40 Salmon/Copper - Stainless Steel Case - 40mm Case - 46.5mm Lug to Lug - 11.9mm Thin (Including Domed Crystal) - 20mm Lug Width - 15atm/150m Water Resistance - Sapphire Crystal - Movement: ETA 2824-2, Côtes de Genève Finish, Fears Rotor (finished in England) - Complete set, card dated 4/2024 - Includes an invitation to the Fears Owners Club - exclusive watch offerings, sales, straps, info, etc. - Excellent condition, like-new. Price is shipped/insured within the US (UPS 2-Day or FedEx Express if you prefer, buyer adds $30 for overnight), international shipping available at buyer's expense (typically not more than $70.) Zelle preferred, PP F&F/Venmo also accepted. Tons of refs on here, hundreds more on various reputable watch groups on Facebook. Sale heavily preferred, will consider trades around the $3k mark. Thanks for looking - Cheers!
