Up for sale is a knockout piece - "a piece of gold with a watch in it" - a Piaget reference 99022. I'm still working on a nickname for this one. This 1980s watch is essentially a rounded and textured piece of 18k gold with a manual wind Piaget 9P2 movement inside. The movement is freshly serviced. This watch measures about 5mm thick, 32mm long, and 30mm wide. For size comparison, I included a photo of the watch on my ~6.8" wrist in the photos. It is heavy for its size because of the gold. The watch is in good shape based on its age. It has some marks on the case that appear depending on the lighting, and I can certainly send additional photos if you'd like to see in depth. But one of the nicest things about this watch is how the entire case shines and reflects light at different angles. The black dial with gold markers blends beautifully with the black leather Piaget strap, along with the solid 18k gold Piaget buckle. This watch would be an absolute knockout piece of hardware at a black tie event. A rare piece that is simultaneously loud and understated.
