It is with some sadness that I am presenting for sale today my Unimatic U5S-ML limited edition collab with Massena Lab. This watch was my daily for a few months but hasn’t seen any wrist time since I got a similarly black dialed watch with a little bit slimmer profile. Released in Q4 2023, the U5S-ML was Unimatic’s first 36mm watch (they’ve subsequently released two other 36mm LEs that I don’t think are as nice). This is a “small” cased watch that wears like a larger one as a result of its long-ish lugs and wrist presence. The dial is also designed in the minimalist, German, Bauhaus-style with a little pop of color in the yellow seconds hand. Unlike Unimatic’s “classic” editions, which come with a NH35, the U5S-ML comes with a silky smooth Sellita SW200-1 Swiss-made movement. I’m selling this as a full kit ➕➕ and including a Unimatic black nato (35€ MSRP), a unique leather button-stud pass through from [Form Function Form](https://formfunctionform.com) ($32 MSRP), and a handsome, thick, black calfskin strap from the [Cie Bracelet Montre](https://www.cie-bracelet-montre.com) boutique in Paris, France (120€ MSRP). The watch is in 9.5/10 condition with only the teeny tiniest of hairlines on the (almost non-existent) bezel, and one small hairline on the case back. You have to look pretty hard to find any imperfections on this watch. The yellow rubber strap has a little discoloration on one side; black one is mint. Both leather strap are broken in but in excellent shape. The black nato has probably seen the most wear but looks mint - I sold a different Unimatic a couple months ago but negotiated to keep this nato since it’s so nice. $950 shipped and insured, CONUS only. I’d do $875 with the Unimatic nato but w/o the other extras but greatly prefer to sell it all together. Would consider trades up with some cash (or another watch) going in your direction - 36-38mm watches with basic dial colors (black, white, gray, dark blue) and good legibility & lume are always desired.
