The original SBGJ227 “Peacock” was released in its distinctive green dial and pattern inspired by the peacock’s feathers and is beloved by Grand Seiko collectors. This particular piece was reintroduced only limited to 500 pieces in the US with a beautiful blue and purple dial. These photos just don’t do it justice. The heart of the timepiece is the Hi-Beat caliber 9S86, which runs at 36,000 bph with an accuracy of +5 to -3 seconds a day and offers 55 hours of power reserve. The GMT function allows the tracking of an additional time zone, functional and beneficial for frequent travelers.
