Hi everyone,

I am selling this nice Jumbo Chronostop Seamaster from 1968. The description is as follows:

- Dial: The original black dial is in average condition with signs of aging. All lumes are still attached; however, they are discolored and have turned dark. The combination of the orange Omega logo, orange second hand, and revert pie pan makes the dial look really cool. The inner bezel rotates when turning the crown at 10 o'clock.

- Case: The sharp case has visible facets and a visible brushed finish on the case top and rear. It looks like the case was polished slightly at some point in the past. The watch measures 41mm without the crown.

- Original plexiglass with signs.

- Original crowns and pusher.

- Movement: Omega Cal. 865 is in working order and functions properly. It has had an unknown service history and has not been tested for accuracy.

- Bracelet: The Omega bracelet No. 1117 with 549 end links. It fits my 7" wrist loosely, and there is still room available for micro-adjusting.

- The watch will come with the Omega double boxed, a red carton outer box, and a red plastic inner box.

Founded at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1848 by 23-year-old Louis Brandt who assembled key-wound precision pocket watches from parts supplied by local craftsmen. He travelled throughout Europe selling his watches from Italy to Scandinavia by way of England, his chief market. After Louis Brandt's death in 1879, his two sons Louis-Paul and Cesar, troubled by irregular deliveries of questionable quality, abandoned the unsatisfactory assembly workshop system in favour of in-house manufacturing and total production control. Due to the greater supply of manpower, communications and energy in Bienne, the enterprise moved into a small factory in January 1880, then bought the entire building in December. Two years later the company moved into a converted spinning-factory in the Gurzelen district of Bienne, where headquarters are still situated today. Their first series-produced calibres, Labrador and Gurzelen, as well as, the famous Omega calibre of 1894, would ensure the brand's marketing success.
