Good evening, WatchEx! A couple for tonight, starting with a rare relisting: the Tourby Art Deco SB 40. As I say all of the time, I'm a huge fan of German watchmaking. One of my favorite German brands I tried in 2022/2023 was Dekla, with their Deck Watch 40. This Tourby Art Deco SB (Silver/Blue) feels a lot like the Deklas I've listed here, just with a much more premium build. It doesn't get much more classic than this design (at least when it comes to dress watches.) Tourby has been making watches since 2004, followed by the "Tourby" brand officially launching in 2007. They've been evolving ever since, releasing more and more specialized/boutique-style watches representing aviation, classical dress watches, and even chronographs within the last year. I highly encourage you to look into what they've managed to accomplish in under 20 years - it's truly an impressive brand! This watch in particular checks a lot of boxes for me on a dressier piece: sized right at 40mm, a beautiful opaline dial, gorgeous blued hands, and an absolutely stunning in-house (ish) movement based on an extremely reliable movement (ETA Unitas 6498.1.) This isn't a watch I'm particularly looking forward to selling, but I'm not fully convinced it's what I want to cap my 7-watch keep box. I took this on trade, but I could see it sticking around if it doesn't fly on here. This comes complete with all original packaging and warranty certificate, original genuine alligator strap in blue, leather branded watch case, and the pictured Delugs leather (like-new.) This would make an incredible addition to any collection at nearly any wrist size, and dresses up or down very nicely with a variety of straps.
