Hiya r/watchexchange, happy days! Up for sale is an Oris Big Crown Pointer Date Bronze 80th Anniversary Edition. As the name implies, the date is indicated by a central pointer hand, instead of a date window. Released by Oris in 1938, the oversized crown was designed to be easily manipulated by pilots while wearing gloves. The watch is in excellent condition with the bronze case starting to acquire some patina.
