Cerruti 1881 Swiss-Made Automatic – Extremely Rare I purchased this a long time ago and barely wore it. It’s been in a drawer for approximately 20 years, but runs excellent and is in near-mint condition! This Cerruti has what some would consider ideal dimensions at 38mm width, 45mm lug to lug, and a slim 10mm height that will easily fit under dress cuffs. (Note: The actual width measures 40mm if you count the crown.) The lug width is 20mm, also making it a strap monster. Although it gives the appearance of a diver, the dark blue bezel is fixed. It has a sapphire crystal on the front and an exhibition back showing off the 25-jewel Swiss movement. (I believe the movement could be an ETA 2824, but I'm not certain. Feel free to comment if you happen to know this model.) The 28mm dial is dress shirt white, but the indices are tan/beige colored. I’m not sure if that is by design or from patina/age… but it provides some attractive contrast and the lume still glows nicely. The finish on the case and the bezel is a mix of brushed and polished surfaces. I am uncertain if this was a limited model or not, but I’ve searched and searched for this model online and cannot find a reference to it anywhere. It seems Cerruti makes mostly watches with quartz movements now… including a current model that resembles this watch but isn’t. There are no original box or papers, but the watch does come with a nice small Pelican-style case and the original 20mmx16mm blue leather Cerruti strap with signed buckle, plus a super comfortable quick change Barton silicone tan/beige/black strap as pictured… with two different lengths for the side with the holes. (The tan/beige of this strap matches to the beige-colored indices nicely, and it is much more of a muted tan/beige rather than the mustard/yellow tint in the photos.) (Please click on the Album link to the right for additional photos.) [Album](https://imgur.com/a/gQ1lk3B) I am asking $245.00 with payment by PPFF or Venmo. I will cover FedEx or USPS-insured priority shipping in ConUS. Open to discussing trades of like value. My latest interest has been in micro-brand models produced by Vaer, Maen, Wolbrook, Douglas, Dan Henry, Forzo, Geckota, Nivada. Note: I have 12 transactions recorded in this forum. For additional reference, please check out my selling activity on eBay (seller ID over there is thomsen45) where I have 600+ transactions, and years of mostly watch sales... with 100% feedback.
