Wanted to check here before listing elsewhere in case someone in the community wants a nice 1980s mid size diver project.
Pulsar Y563-6039, serial 132459, March 1981.
Case: fair shape, has scratches. Crown tube threads (screw-down) good and crown screws down fine.
Bezel: some light scratches but overall solid shape. Assuming it should turn but likely needs to be freed up with a good deep clean
Crystal: lots of scratches, will need a replacement (found on Hovigs for $11.30)
Bracelet: non-original
Dial/hands: dial will need a good cleaning and hands are in decent shape. Lume is not in the best shape but still has a bit of brightness.
Movement/functions: It started running with a fresh battery, but the seconds hand will often get stuck at certain points, often around :57. Day/date quicksets work fairly well, a little sticky. Time can be set. Probably needs a good cleaning and service, or swap with a VX63 ($10.95 on Esslinger).
Selling because I have too many watches (don’t we all!) and need to cut back. I wouldn’t mind fixing this one up myself, but frankly I’ve gotten busy with school and don’t really need to spend any more money.
Asking $50 shipped.
Please let me know if you have any questions, and I will try to get some more photos up soon.
Thanks - Jaylan
