Happy New Year! For sale is my blue Breitling A17388. I’m a little ashamed to admit this, but I had always looked down on the Colt a bit. Not sure why, probably from some keyboard warrior on WUS, but I had long thought it was a bit of a poor man’s Breitling. I bought this one a couple of years ago because I really wanted a blue watch, and it seemed like it would be a great vacation option. What I learned was that it’s a magnificent timepiece. I was dead wrong about it being a poor man’s Breitling. Or if it is, the hell if I care. It’s fantastic. It’s so solid, well built and easy to read. It has a great presence and is comfortable to wear. I’ll probably end up buying another one of these in the future. It’s in excellent condition, with some desk marks on the clasp. It comes with two additional links, and is currently set to fit a 6.5in wrist. No papers are included, as it was when I bought it. Price is $1900 shipped, 2 day insured via Fedex.
