For sale is a Rare vintage Croton Aquamatic "UFO" Automatic watch. Watch is in spectacular condition (Very close to NOS) and is ready to wear. Circa 1970's. Swiss made. The funky 70's case measures in at 38 mm and the full stainless steel case is in great original shape showing no notable major dings or deep scratches. Case remains sharp. watch wears comfortably well on the wrists with its's 38 mm uniform case measurement. The watch is a 11.5 mm thick. Original 12-hour burgundy sunburst dial with raised geometric pyramid indices and tritium lumed hands. Dial is perfect and untouched. A cool feature on this is the color matched date wheel. Original unsigned onion crown at the 6 o'clock position. Automatic movement 17 Jewel AS branded movement. Quickset works perfect (Note quickset is done by reversing hands past 9 then past 12). Watch is in good working order and is keeping time. Service history is unknown. All stainless steel case with a screw back. Original caseback stickers are present on this watch Case back markings include Water + Shock Resistant, All Stainless Steel, Swiss and the serial No. (Serial No. being obstructed due to caseback sticker) Watch comes with what is believed to be the original zodiac patterned colormatched strap with silver buckle.
