FS: Seiko SKX015 38mm Resto-Mod, New NH36 Movement, faded Pepsi bezel, aged lume

Up for sale custom is this Seiko Skx015, heavily modded by WUS member ciccio_started_it, from whom I purchased this piece. The work is excellent!

Mods performed:

The original 7s26 movement was replaced with a brand new Seiko NH36, and the day and date wheels from the original movement were swapped in. The crown was also replaced with the NH36 stem.

Tinctured the lume on the dial and hands to age them. The Pepsi bezel is also hand-faded. Note: Although this is labeled as an SKX015 (the blue-dialed Pepsi variant of the 38mm SKX line),
this version has a matte black OEM Seiko dial (likely from a sister model, Seiko SKX013). However, the watch has a very dark blue rehaut/chapter ring. It is almost unnoticeable until the watch face is blasted with sunlight. I love this mod as it created the same visual appearance of a vintage Rolex GMT Master Pepsi. This detail was not disclosed to me in the original sale, so it's not a problem.... I just wanted you to know.

Additionally, when pulling out the crown to position 2 (date and day setting), it can be a bit finicky to get to this in-between position. It can be done, and if it functions, I just wanted to provide full disclosure about the watch's operation. It's keeping good time and winds very smooth.

The SKX015 is the smaller variant of the SKX divers; its smaller diameter and thinner profile make it more comfortable to wear.

Comes mounted on a Seiko-branded jubilee bracelet.

38mm case (not including crown) 12.8 mm thick

20mm Lugs, 45mm lug to lug; wears like a dream.

It will include a quality vintage stitch leather strap with an OEM bead-blasted Seiko buckle.
