Lorier Hydra SIII Series 3 Lorier is a microbrand based in New York but manufacturers overseas to keep consumer costs competitive.   Their watches tend to ooze vintage inspiration with a touch of modern: retro- future?  This Hydra is consistent with that thesis. The Hydra SIII features as a dive watch is its GMT movement and use of two different luminous compounds to separate time zones: BGW9 for local and dive times, and C1 to track a second time zone. Oh, and the proportions are tight!  The extra sauce here is the domes hesalite crystal paired with a matching mesa bezel. Overall, this is a clean timepiece with once owner who collects with care.
