The ceramic case, water-resistant to 6 bar, is equipped with a soft-iron inner case for protection against magnetic fields. With its protection against magnetic fields and a front glass secured against displacement by sudden drops in pressure, the watch takes up a tradition established by its forebear, the Mark 11 of the 1940s.
