Hi folks! Available for sale is an ultra rare limited release of 188 pieces by Kurono Tokyo, the 2024 34mm “Calligra” Special Project Silver White. A cool easter egg on this watch is the hand-drawn Breguet-style hour numeral font personally created by Hajime Asaoka, rooted in his calligraphy training from art school. The compact stainless-steel case measures 34 mm in diameter, 9.6 mm thick, with a lug-to-lug of 41 mm and an 18 mm lug width. It houses the automatic Miyota 90S5 movement with a 40-hour power reserve. The watch comes with luminescent hands, a calf-leather strap, and is water-resistant to 5 bar. Condition wise I would put this at 97%. There are no major dings, nicks, dents or hairlines that I can see with the naked eye anywhere on the case or crystal. The strap is very mint and looks to be rarely worn, if at all. If I am really nitpicking, there is a small light hazing or rub mark on the 9 o’clock side of the case that I couldn’t pick up with the camera because of the curved and polished case side. You probably wouldn’t notice it unless I pointed it out, but I notice everything. The watch is running within COSC specs with just a few hand winds. The watch comes with its beautiful full kit from Kurono – intro cards, warranty card (dated March 2024, so if you ever needed to use it you’re past the 6 month lockout window for owners other than the first buyer), inner and outer boxes and polishing cloth.
