That said, "affordable" is relative, these watches were still expensive for the time. In fact, the QZ models were priced higher than most automatic Seikos in the lineup back in 1974. It wasn’t until Seiko introduced the Type II range later in the decade that quartz became more accessible. This particular watch has a 36.5mm case, 41.5mm lug-to-lug, and is 10mm thick. It still has its original faceted Hardlex crystal and a striking blue dial with a fine sandy texture. Powering it is the QZ Caliber 0923, known for its accuracy and reliability. The watch is in great condition for its age, showing minimal scratches on the case and the case back. Crystal is nice and clean. Watch comes fitted on OEM bracelet that fits up to 19cm (7.5 inches). It has been recently serviced and is keeping excellent time. Although the watch doesn’t come with original box and papers, a standard watch box will be provided upon purchase.
