Hi everyone – I’ve picked up some new watches lately so now it’s time to restore the balance in The Force by offering a couple for sale. Up next is this Nomos Tangente 38 in Kanari Yellow. This is one of an LE of 175 pieces in this color, part of a special series Nomos released at the Watches & Wonders show in 2024. Watch runs well, keeps great time, and is in great cosmetic condition. There's a slight blemish on the 11:00 lug which I only noticed while taking pics. Full set including the wooden presentation box, outer sleeve, and warranty card. Specs (from Nomos website): MOVEMENT Nomos DUW410 (in-house, manual wind movement) CASE Stainless steel Sapphire crystal glass back GLASS Sapphire crystal glass DIMENSIONS diameter 37.5 mm height 6.8 mm lug-to-lug 47.7 mm WATER RESISTANCE 3 atm (splash-proof) HANDS rhodium-plated STRAP Textile strap light gray, woven, waterproof lug width 19 mm LOGISTICS: Price for this one is $1995 via Venmo or PayPal F&F. NOMOS Glashütte is a German watchmaking company based in Glashütte, Saxony, which specializes in manual-winding and automatic mechanical watches. It was founded in January 1990, two months after the fall of the Berlin Wall, by Roland Schwertner. The designs for the first collection were drawn up by Susanne Günther, drawing influence from the Bauhaus purist style. NOMOS's designs have been widely praised for their clean and modernist aesthetic. In its early years, the company focused on manufacturing mechanical watches with hand-wound movements. The basis for the movement was, until 2005, the Swiss-made ETA SA / Peseux 7001. Annual production is approximately 20,000 pieces.

Since 2005, NOMOS Glashütte has only used in-house movements. Beginning with α (Alpha), a manual winding caliber, the range has since been expanded to include a range of other manual winding movements with additional functions. The first automatic NOMOS watch, the Tangomat, was first introduced in the summer of 2005. NOMOS Glashütte has gradually expanded its range of watches to include new models and sizes, such as Ahoi and Metro.
