Up for sale is an original railtrack dial Omega Constellation. These railtrack dials are much less common than their pie pan siblings, but just as cool - if not cooler. The watch was well-loved with wear throughout the case and with heavy patina on the non-luminous dial. The 1701** serial number movement is a "special chronometer" movement that was part of a consecutive run of 20K movements that received chronometer certification with especially high accuracy. Dial: Original, non-refinished silver railtrack dial has developed a heavy patina. These railtrack dials are quite unique and uncommon. Dial and hands are non-luminous, an uncommon find as most of these had radium lume.

Case: Original 34.5mm stainless steel 14381 reference case has wear throughout. Stars on the gold observatory are worn but still faintly visible.

Crown: Correct thin scalloped crown that often came on these railtrack models. Much easier to wind than the decagonal ones.

Crystal: Generic crystal is free of scratches.

Movement: Original 551 caliber automatic movement runs and winds okay but it needs service. The caseback gasket has degraded, hence the black gunk on the movement. Strap: Comes on the brown DeBeer leather strap pictured.
