The matte dial is is excellent condition. The hour markers have acquired a creamy patina.
Movement 1520 is running well.
Markings on case including the serial & model number are legible.
Marking on the inside of case back match those of the watch case, for date of manufacture & serial number.
The Rolex rivet bracelet is stretched dated 2/70. It has 12 links total.
Accessories include: the anchor, user manual, Guarantee card, 5513 tag, the original purchase receipt from the US Navy ship on which it was purchased for $138.05. This last detail in noteworthy.
This is a vintage watch which is 51 years old. It is in very good condition for a watch this age. However, the case has been polished and it has dings and scratches. The chamfers on the lugs are still faintly visible. Movement operates it should. Service history is unknown. See Photographs for details. The photographs are part of the description.
