Hi everyone, today I’m selling my Polerouter Super, reference 869112/02 from 1969. This is an awesome reference that I feel does not get a lot of attention. It has a sportier look than the original Polerouter, with a 34.5mm case and wide 20mm lugs that make it wear more like a 36mm Datejust, but is nice and thin due to the cal 69 microrotor movement, with a tall box crystal. This watch has a sunburst grey dial that is somewhat rare as far as I know, I have not seen any others in my research. Paired with the white text, this just has an awesome appearance. This watch has the original stepped crown, crystal with cyclops, and as far as I can tell is unpolished and in awesome condition. The original tritium lume has aged very nicely. The watch was serviced in October 2023. This offer includes the watch on a Velbenist suede leather strap, but I can also include the bracelet shown in one of the photos—it is the Uncle Straps FOIS brushed bracelet—for $75. The endlinks need some bending to fit perfectly, but paired with the case and dial it has this amazing monochromatic look.
