hello,

the "$700" price is just because one has got to post a price, this is
an ad for four watches, i'm pretty sure prices will vary, i am willing
to consider your Best Reasonable Offer on any of them. Here's a brief
description of each one. all have been overhauled, all have had hands
and dials relumed, all have been worn no more than once a month in
a large rotation. All keep good time.

I will send additional photos, descriptions, etc to anyone who is genuinely
interested in any of these. i am going to ignore the usual lowballers, no offense
intended, but these watches were really taken care of, and, that means
paying some professionals their money.

1. Lovely Pogue, bought from an estate sale on e-bay, this had to have
been a drawer watch, it was almost perfect, and eight years later, it still
is in really nice condition. Overhauled and relumed by Randall Benson,
aka Dr. Seiko, seven years ago. I recently had help from John Sachs and
Tom Robinson in rebuilding the original crown, there's a thread from this
year about that on this forum. This watch is all original, except for the
original bezel (photo 1) which has been safely stashed away all these
years, the black/red one is aftermarket, and put on because i like the
colors better this way. With an Uncle bracelet of good length.

2. 6139-6032, i bought this one on e-bay, and sent it to the Lapinist in Poland
for a case rebuild, and as you can see, he does really excellent work. Overhaul
by Jay's watchmaker at Motor City Watch Works ( the gentleman does excellent
work. ) Relumed by Jay. Runs like a top, and has only tiny flaws.

3. 6139-7039 this was sold as NOS, and it really was. i wore it sparingly
and carefully. Overhauled by Guy Jefferies at Rexworthy, must've been
20 or 21, those years are a blur...Relumed by Kent at Everest Watchworks,
he does amazing work. Duarte Mendonca put the Kanji daywheel in, original
is included as well.

4. 6139-7020 This is the second of these that i've owned, this one
was overhauled by Seth at Hub City Vintage, and bought from there,
and comes on a nice Uncle bracelet, the original Japanese Tourniquet
is included for those lucky vintage collectors with small wrists, or,
join the search for the missing links.
