I love all the hand wound variants Rolex was offering from the 60s through the 80s - so much value. But the no date Rolex Oyster Precision reference 6426 is hard to beat - just a pure, clean, robust design. This here is a great example with classic silver sunburst dial on its original Rolex oyster bracelet! REFERENCE: 6426 SERIAL NUMBER: 2,651,XXX DATE: 1971 DIAL: The no date silver sunburst dial is just sweetness, such a clean aesthetic. And this is a fantastic example, a few specs seen under a loupe/macro and a bit of the regular lume degradation, but presents incredibly clean and pops beautifully in the light! CASE: Very nice 34mm case (actually measures 34.5 on calipers, and wears like a 35 or so with the oyster case) in good condition. Wear throughout overall, as to be expected for its age, mostly onnthe smooth bezel, sides, and back of lugs, but nice and thick lugs with great brushing that’s hard to find on these. CRYSTAL: Vintage plexi crystal in good shape, with light scratches and wear as you’d expect but shows off that dial well. MOVEMENT: Service history unknown but the hand wound Rolex movement is working beautifully, winding and setting smoothly, with timegrapher showing 16 seconds a day with an amplitude of 236. BRACELET: Comes on what I believe to be its original Rolex folded oyster 7835 bracelet with correct 1971 date stamping on the clasp. Bracelet has wear throughout but looks great and appears unpolished with thick Rolex crown. Will fit up to just over 7 inches. ACCESSORIES: Watch on bracelet only.
