Hi everyone, I’m selling this Damasko DS 30, Windup edition, in olive green; the case has Damasko’s proprietary DAMEST coating (triple-layer DLC), adding another layer of protection to the already super tough hardened steel. Compared to the regular DS 30, this limited Windup edition features straight sword hands and color-matched circular date window at 6 (rather than 3)—both significant improvements, for me, which really perfect the design. The watch is in pristine shape—no scratches, dents, or dings. The only blemish I see is a super tiny mark in the DAMEST coating, at the top edge of the bezel at 39. The case is made of submarine steel, which is harder and more anti-corrosive than 316L. Damasko also employs here their patented crown system (multiple Viton seals, a self-lubricating cell for smooth threading, hexagonal tube, and a decoupling system); I’m not sure what all of that means, to be honest, but it’s an undeniably cool in-house technology, at this price. The watch measures 39 x 46 x 9.9; 20 mm lug width; 200 m of water resistance. It wears beautifully and is a real GADA piece. The watch will ship in the original box but I’m missing the original strap. I will instead include the pictured U.S.-made ADPT single pass strap, which fits the aesthetic nicely; I will also throw in the pictured gray FKM strap, which is unworn.
