Hey Reddit, Up for sale is a rare Seiko 7009-8109 from 1976, with a unique faceted acrylic crystal. The dial is a beautiful inky blue and the indices unique. An interesting thing about this piece is that the faceting is on the underside of the crystal, so the top is still domed. A great size at 36mm and 42mm lug to lug, with 20mm lug width. Powered by a 7009 movement, this piece is still running strong at around -20 to -30 seconds per day. However, the service history of the movement is unknown. The quickset functions for the day and date are both working properly. This piece comes in honest vintage condition. There are scratches and marks on the case and crystal.
