Reposting reducing. Selling this guy to make room for more purchases. I love love this watch each time I put it on, it’s hefty, legible, busy, and commanding. All that being said, I hate to admit it’s not the first thing I reach for in my watch box. It sort of falls into my category of “I like it when I put it on, but I don’t think about it often.” It’s a tall boy at close to 18mm, but it doesn’t feel like it. It’s mostly due to its double dome-age. The rear exhibition back is domed and the top is domed as well. But alll its other design elements sync up and this actually wears slimmer than my chonk master Tudor BB41. This comes with a big ol automatic valjoux and creamed lume from the factory. I love the pre-patinated hands to give it that vintage look. Oddly this one does have a small crack in the lume on the minute hand, but I actually dig it. Lends to the faux vintage. I put it on a vario tweed strap I kept trying to find a home for and I think it’s sweet. It’s got a screw down crown and pushers that all work nicely with satisfying action.
