The SAGV001 is powered by the HAQ Perpetual Calendar Big Date 7D48 movement, the dial features a checkered pattern which are seldom seen on Seiko models, few examples that share the pattern are the sagv005 and sarb026 which have historically sold for a much higher price. This example was from 2005 and retailed well over 1000USD at the time which put this model in the higher end offering of Seiko's lineup.
