A very rare Seiko Advan watch in great condition. Futuristic design. Stunning Blue Perlage Textured sunburst dial. Very thoughtful creative design all over. Raised Faceted indexes make the dial pop. Beefy solid Jumbo 🛑 cushion case. Original Seiko Advan signed solid bracelet. Faceted unique Crystal gives it a retro vibe. Movement has been serviced. Good time keeping. Amazing condition at 50 year old, ready to be used as a daily driver. Such pieces should be appreciated upfront to experience at full measure, pictures don't do justice to this beauty. Sunlight brings out most of its beauty. They were designed to have premium build quality but for only regions of Japan. Handling it, I can definitely guarantee this is superior to modern watches of the same price zone. A good Collectors piece. The Kanji(Japanese) date and the advan red logo highly complements the dial. It has both English and Japanese (Kanji) day options. Crown perfectly blends into case. Such dials are highly sought after in seiko world, so this is a great investment piece as well. Textured 3d Mirror finished electric hand complements the dial. The polish is insane with sharp brushed lines and mirror finishing. They're only released in Japan, JDM model. The sun emblem on dial is exclusive to advan models. Seiko has always kept such dials limited and they fetch a lot higher than other color variants of same model. I tried my best to capture the dial on picture and video but it should be appreciated in person for full measure. Advan was a premium seiko lineup. The name ADVAN is named after 'advanced technology' referring to the 6106 movement which was at the top end of the 6xxx movements. The date changing mechanism of the movement is rather special. By pressing the crown into the watch, the date will click and change automatically. The movement has hacking which means the second hand can be adjusted with correct time.
