I’m selling my Rolex Explorer 114270 - I am the second owner, and bought it from the original owner in 2020. He originally purchased this watch while on vacation in 2002, wore it “only for special occasions” and then put it in his safety deposit box for 15 years. This watch comes with the full kit - inner/outer boxes, hang tag, bezel protective plastic ring, all paperwork, wallet, booklets, etc. I've obscured personal info of the original owner on the certificate, as well as the SN - but it's all there and all matching.

I had the watch serviced shortly after I bought it - work was done by Treiber & Straub, which is fully licensed by Rolex to work on their watches, and also licensed to issue RSC warranty cards (i.e., not just store warranties), so it has the full weight of Rolex behind it. No parts needed replacing, and because I was able to meet with the actual watchmaker doing the work (a benefit over mailing it to RSC), we agreed to forgo polishing. He rebrushed the bracelet at my request (and only needed to use the final brushing wheel to do so), but the case and bezel is untouched. I really hate sales posts that claim a watch is unpolished (which always seems just like an educated guess), but I can confidently say this one is unpolished as the original owner never had it serviced, and indicated no polishing or any other work had been done on it.

The case has only minor wear, and all is well-represented in the photos. I wore the watch only in an executive office setting and once on vacation. Green caseback sticker is still in place, and the bracelet clasp is still stiff due to lack of use. All links are installed, and it fits my 7.5" wrist on the second-to-tightest micro-adjust, so should be good up to ~8ish inches.
