OK, this is a CRAZY find… as an Omega collector myself for over 20 years, I have never seen a set from the 1960s this complete. They just weren’t kept, and if they were, they didn’t survive. But here it is, an absolute time capsule 1961 Omega Constellation reference 14393 with all the original paperwork, inner box, even the original outer cardboard box - MADNESS! REF: 14393 7 SC SERIAL: 17,456,XXX DATE: 1961 DIAL: Gorgeous white dome dial that has also stood the test of time. Crisp and clean, beautiful printing, matching black inserts on the hour markers and hands - just a beautiful example! CRYSTAL: Vintage plexi crystal has wear of course but also presents beautifully and also appears to be original with the floating Omega symbol in the center. CASE: Fantastic 34mm stainless and 14k gold capped case. Given the long fat lugs, I’d say this wears just shy of a 36mm Datejust (pictured on my 6.6 inch wrist) although it’s nice and thin. Light wear throughout as you would expect, but lugs are super sharp and so is the constellation medallion on the back, awesome to see! MOVEMENT: Omega automatic cal 561 is running beautifully. Previous owner said they had it serviced recently, and although I don’t have paperwork for that, timegrapher numbers are looking great at 5 seconds a day with an amplitude of 254. Strap is also in fantastic shape, surprisingly still very soft and very wearable. ACCESSORIES: This comes as an absolutely insane full collector set! Inner red Constellation box, outer Constellation cardboard box (rarely seen outside of archive photos) original watch pad, and all of the original paperwork which includes three serialized booklets, even the original plastic cover and the paperwork holder - this guy kept EVERYTHING and I thank him for it! PRICE: Hard one to price because a set like this just never comes up, going with a very fair and firm $1895 which includes fully insured 2 day shipping through FedEx anywhere in the US.
