Few brands have been more impressive as a whole over the last 3-4 years than Swiss giant Longines - their Spirit line leading the way with a ton of excellent options. I consider modern Longines to really be the "Tudor" to Omega - every bit as nice, some excellent "in-house" movements, similar finishing to big brother (Omega), but at a much more approachable price point. You really cannot convince me that the Spirit line is a real step down from the Aqua Terra lineup. This, the Spirit 37, had a smaller size to fit a larger variety of wrists. Even with the smaller case though, the dial of the watch isn't encumbered by a thick bezel, giving it a larger presence on wrist. The raised markers and logos are razor sharp, and the case finishing is truly elite for this segment. It's comfortable, too - few brands have better OEM leathers.
