This, the incredibly cleverly named Alpiner Chronograph, has all of the polish and flair of a Swiss mechanical chronograph priced 3x higher. Legible, comfortable, and with a clean, subtle sunray black dial - it'll go with just about anything. I genuinely think this is the absolute best automatic chronograph under 1k - though I'd love to be proven wrong!
