Up for sale is a rare Rolex Cellini Ref. 3805 in 18k white gold and dating back to the late 1970s. This watch measures in at approximately, 5.6mm thick, 33mm wide (including the small signed crown), and 35.6mm lug to lug. The lugs themselves are 20mm wide. It wears very nicely, and I included a photo of the watch on my ~6.8" wrist. This watch features an 18k white gold case with the Rolex crown and hallmarks stamped on the caseback, along with white gold raised indices on the gray sunburst dial. This watch contains a "sigma" dial with the sigma symbol on the bottom, indicating that the hour markers and hands are white gold. This watch captures light beautifully and ranges in various tones of gray and silver depending on the angle, and the hour markers dance in the light with every movement of your wrist. I tried to capture this on video in the link below. This watch contains a very thin manual wind Rolex movement, and it is running with a strong amplitude over 300 and measuring at about +/- 15 spd. Many of these vintage Cellinis have seen deterioration. This particular watch is in very good shape despite its age, though it has a small bit of marking on the bottom of the dial that is only visible at certain angles. I attempted to take photos in different light to capture it as best as I could. It also has some marks between the bottom lugs from the case being opened, but those marks are not visible unless the strap is removed.
