Good afternoon, WatchEx Today I bring you a Universal Geneve Polerouter Date, just recently returned from servicing 2 days ago (receipt can be seen on the second to last slide). This one is a catch-and-release that I didn’t plan on selling, at least, not this soon. Contemplated getting the dial cleaned or refinished, but I opted not to at the end, as these are rather hard to come across with a stock dial (especially with perfectly legible text). Of course, it is completely possible, if one were to want it refinished/cleaned. This watch has such a nice build, especially for its era. Just feels nice and robust in-hand, and has an unmistakably unique design, courtesy of the legendary Gérald Genta. Asking for $1050 + shipping. I honestly don’t think this price can be beat, especially when compared to other examples on WatchEx, and how goddamn expensive these things are to service.
