It uses a special No-Date KS mechanical movement that can be manually wound and hacked (the second hand stops when the crown is pulled out). It ticks at 4hz which gives the second hand a smoother sweep than most other Seikos. The movement was hand assembled and regulated. Case and medallion are in excellent condition.
